Inner Values by Tobias Trubenbacher is an design project on overcoming stereotypical aesthetics. Can we appreciate supposedly disgusting animal waste products if presented in a different way? Tobias has used pigs bladders and cattle intestines (usually thrown away after slaughter) to produce the “upholstery” for his range of chairs. These inner skins where cleaned, pickled, regreased and tanned over several weeks and proved to have similar qualities to conventional leather.
