Recolored, a new way of recycling by Jessica den Hartog explores the possibilities of recycled plastics as a new material. Currently no colour distinction is made in the recycling industry, making grey raw material. Starting with a bale of HDPE plastic and separating by colour den Hartog sorted, washed and recycled by hand to form many new hues.
