K-Briq by Kenoteq is the worlds first mass produced sustainable brick. Kenoteq initially produced 10,000 “K-Briq’s” a day but has now scaled up to produce over 2 million bricks a year.
Constructed from almost 100% recycled content the brick requires no firing and has a comparable strength to a “regular” brick. It comes in range of thirteen stock colours made from recycled pigments.
The brick comes at a crucial time ‘It is anticipated that construction and demolition volumes will double in the next 30 years, during which time the industry will be required to recycle more and more,’ said Medero (co-founder of Kenoteq)
