Recycled Fishing Rope, Recycled Rubber Grain is a research project by Talin Hazbar to highlight the amount of fishing waste in the ocean. To begin, fishing net and rope was collected, untangled and cleaned. The material was then compressed into a mold to form a recycled slab. The intent is to spark conversation around ecology, the environment and waste. Each slab tells a story of how much waste is in the ocean and reminds us to do better.
