Southern Tile has recently released a new sustainable tile range – Ambiente. The tile is produced in Italy and the production process is focused on re-use and recycling. All industrial water produced is re-used and any unfired production waste is recycled. The company has also reduced their c02 emissions in line with the Kyoto Protocol agreement. The Kyoto Protocol was adopted in 1997 with the objective to reduce global warming through reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
