Kelp Chair was designed by Swedish studio Interesting Times Gang for a new restaurant, Black Milk Sushi. Michelin-star chefs Niclas Jonsson and Daniel Hoglander commissioned the piece and asked for something unique that had not been seen before.
Kelp Chair is a 3D printed chair made from recycled maritime gear such as ropes and fishing nets. “The chair was created to bring attention to the fact that vast amount of known underwater kelp forests have been eradicated due to unsustainable fishing practices and rising ocean temperatures”.
